Someone to Cherish You is the story of Frankie Gleane, a woman in her early thirties, in a relationship going nowhere and her confidence at rock bottom. Frankie knows deep down she is unhappy and after Robert's numerous affairs, and relentless criticism, all belief in herself has dissolved, leaving her doubting whether she is worthy of someone better.
A surprise letter from her grandmother gives Frankie an escape route. A well-timed confrontation with Robert, propels her to flee to the North Yorkshire coast, and into the close-knit and welcoming community of Bayscar, who quickly make her feel at home.
